Visit SightedAI ↗The founder’s purpose
Founded by Dr Justin Ogheneruemu Eghaghara, an optometrist whose professional journey spans Nigeria and the UK, SeeingBetter brings together his interests in accessible eye care, practical learning and mentorship.
A future where affordable, evidence-based eye care is more accessible, knowledge grows through real experience, and professionals have the skills and confidence to serve and lead.
To advance that vision through the SEE framework: Saving Sight, Enriching Minds and Empowering Hands. We aim to connect learning across healthcare settings, develop practical education, and build capacity through mentorship and collaboration.
SeeingBetter is in development. These aims guide the work ahead; they are not claims of services already delivered.
Three connected aims that guide what we want to build.
Our aim is to make affordable eye care more accessible by learning across healthcare settings and developing approaches grounded in evidence and local needs.
Areas we aim to develop
Our aim is to connect classroom knowledge with clinical experience, reflection and research, helping professionals apply what they learn.
